10" Dob Must Go!

This is Part II of my (reluctant) astronomy sell-off to support my other addictive habit, hang gliding. My new glider has now arrived from the U.S. but I've been hit with a $1000 customs bill, which was a fair bit more than I expected (ouch). So my Meade 10" Lightbridge Dob now has to go (urgently).

I'm selling it with a 26mm Meade QX wide-angle eyepiece.

I've only used the scope three times since I bought it new, so it's in pristine condition. I'm selling it for $450, which I think is around half price.

In the interests of a quick sale, I'll personally deliver it free of charge to anywhere within a 5-hour drive of Canberra (which will cover Sydney/Newcastle or thereabouts).

I'm will to buy this dob sight unseen as anyone who risks their life in a flimsy glider deserves my special trust! Have been in astronomy for 60 years and live on the South Coast of NSW. in a place called Nowra - about 3 hrs drive away. Will check for your reply in the morning and send a deposit then, if you are still alive!!
