Hi,
I am looking to sell my G11. This was used in my backyard observatory so does not include a tripod. I haven't used it much since replacing it with a bigger mount.

Asking price of $2400 mainly includes :

- mount head
- maxon motor upgrade
- Ovision work gear upgrade (PE < 5 arc/s)
- cables for motor, hand controller and power
- hand controller
- bob's knob upgrade to the altitude locking bolt
- counter weights

will include picture if there is anyone interested. It looks mint as there is no scratch or blemish that I can detect.

Regards
Raki

Thanks Lewis...

and here is another question...

What would a tripod for this set someone back??
and what are the advantages of G2 over G1?

I am sorry if i shouldnt be posting these questions on here but i dont know who to address them to...

The Losmandy tripod - new - from Optcorp runs $850 US - add a chunk of change for postage. That's the folding version. The non-folding version is now discontinued.

Sorry if answering all Raki's questions for him, but I have been considering a G11 or Titan recently, and know the prices :)

john i put mine on a meade giant field tripod which i picked up locally, then there is an adaptor plate from i think bintel which marries it all together
it is an extremely sturdy setup
there is a fair chance that if you put a wanted add in iis for the meade GFT someone may have one surplus

No worries Lewis, less typing for me. I don't have any experience with G2 so googling is the only thing I can recommend on g1 vs g2.
