Hi everyone,
I want to find out what is my system's image magnification. What I know is magnification= telescope FL / eyepiece FL. What if I use CCD camera instead?
Regards
David

CCD camera does not have magnification, but it has "scale", expressed in arcsec per pixel, for example.
This number will depend of the focal length of the objective and the pixel size.

Thank you bojan,
It looked as though you have answered this questions many times before. Image scale it is.
Thanks again

David, download yourself a copy of CCDCalc (http://www.newastro.com/book_new/camera_app.html). If your scope or camera aren't in the database you can add them and it will compute all the numbers for you.
