Logitech Z-5500 THX-certified 5.1 Computer/Theatre Speaker system

Hi everyone,

For sale is my beloved Z5500 system. This is a THX-certified, 500W RMS 5.1 surround sound audio package that gives an unbelievably clear and filling sound stage. You really have to hear it to appreciate just how amazing these speakers are, as any review on the internet will tell you. The only reason I am parting with this is because I have moved into an apartment and have no need for such a big speaker system.

It has 3.5mm, optical and coaxial inputs, comes with remote control, all original cabling, digital LCD display, supports DTS & Dolby Digital formats and is in excellent condition. Anyone looking for a great computer or home theatre system cant beat this system especially at this price, given that when it was available new it costed over $700 and was one the very rare THX-certified computer speakers around.

I can vouch for these. I have the same exact speakers and they are fantastic for the value. The bass is very powerful and the speakers produce a very crisp sound.

Many people are after these speakers over the newer ones which replaced these.

I'd also love a second set of these. I bought them when they first came out. Still going strong. They work best when hooked up via the optical cable.

If you get no local buyers, and, a) are willing to ship interstate; and, b) I get spousal approval, I'd love to take them off you.

Hi Humayun, haha no problems :) I'll wait a little longer and see if I can get a local buyer, if not I'll get a quote to get it shipped. Yes these really are the bee's knees, cant believe they pack so much punch and yet not clip.

I think letting go of the subwoofer go will be the hardest :(
