A couple of chaps liked this image in the beginners section, not sure if it's worthy to post here but I liked the subtle colours after discovering the 'masked stretch' process in Pixinsight....

Managed to capture this beautiful little constellation/cluster when out at the ASV dark site the other week, can't capture it from home as it's always too low below our roof.

16 shots @ 5 mins, ISO800.

I'm rapt to be able to image at 5-10 mins now, but then all of a sudden, after upgrading to v2.3.1 of PHD, I can't align or guide for quids! Gotta troubleshoot or I'm back to 20 sec subs! Grrr...

Nice job, Simon! Subtle colours and nice contrast between the cluster and the background stars.

Nice one Simon! Yes the Masked stretch tool is very handy when processing stars, well done!
