I used to race these buggers! I used to rides several times a week... now alas its once in a blue moon. my fitness has dropped considerable, but its still a bucket load of fun.
today i decided to take my camera, this mean i didnt get a chance to wear myself out as i stopped every 5 mins to take a picture of something :P
had fun tho.
I came across an ants nest (as you can tell). i only rode about a meter away but they poured out of the nest and chased me anyhow!! look angry dont they :D
I have noticed that the wattle is out (fishos will know what this means!), went down the back of some farm area, found some pretty rocks, a termites mound, and well i hope you lichen the rest (pun intended of course).

one last one... my camera does this sorta panorama thing, but you have to stitch them yourself :(

i removed the stitch lines as much as i could.
whats the best way of stitching?

Very good photography Ving. One of 'THEM' big red ants might do well in the August comp:)
I like the colour depth and I'm impressed with the close up capability of your camera.
Where did you go cycling? Wedderburn?
best,
Doug

Cool pics Ving its amazing the amature photographer a new camera will bring out in us.
I am with Doug in relation to the red ants. Might be a good one in there for the theme "red"

Nice shots, Ving. I think my favourite would have to be the unfinished (or failed) observatory - it reminds me somewhat of Mt.Stromlo after the Canberra fires.
