Hello and greetings IIS crew!

At last i have something new to show, its been just awful here in Melbourne of late so when it did clear for a night last week I jumped onto my puter and gave Brad Moore a call!

Brad has his new toys online now like an ST11 CCD, new field
flattener, 50mm filters and new remote software. So natch I bugged him
into handing it all over to me and connecting on 1st clear night that
came along! I actually beat him to the setups first light! He did
groan just a bit :) So my Trifid image is just a roughy really! Only
30mins of pure 2x2 RGB. I have more subs in storage but sheesh..Ye
gads! Those 20Mb 1x1 subs gave my poor lappy a hernia!

As a Beta-tester i did manage to find a few bugs during the night, and
Brad was kept happily busy sorting them out whilst i sipped martinis
and nibbled cucumber sandwiches at home...hehehe. Mostly file naming
protocols and getting darks and flats (Calibration frames) organised.

I highly reccomend that you guys send brad an email or Skype him in
order to give this system a drive! Its NOT hard! Its the FUTURE! Its a
bit like having a race car in the garage! Without the pain of paying
for the thing. Brad has kindly offer us this chance and is a bit
puzzled why more of us have not taken up the opportunity to play with
his babe..:( Do it while its free dudes..!

Hope its sunny wherever you are and clearest of skies to you all!
