I have a Andrews ACS bino viewer. What would be a good but not expensive pair of low power eyepieces? The opening in the bino just before the eyepiece is 20mm.

A 25mm plossl has a similar field stop size as the clear aperture of those binoviewers, so going to a longer focal length won't gain any extra field of view.

Yes I am using them on the C8. I bought a pair of 20mm GSO plossls to start with. Their field stop is a little smaller than the prism opening. Getting stunning views through these binos. I certainty agree with the commentary about the resolution of detail improvement. These are the cheapest you can buy. I believe I bought the last pair that Andrews had. Is it better to use the screw in William Optic 1.6x or 2x barlows, or get shorter f/l eyepieces?

Hi Doug,
The shortest pair I have used and liked is the 12mm Agena Astro WA pair.
I prefer longer ER for binoviewing so I use 18mm orthos as my shortest pair with the 1.6 OCS and TV 2X and 3X barlows, easier to change a barlow than eyepieces ....the 3X was yours.... thanks so much :D
GSO superview 20mm's from what I have read are OK but I haven't used them, though I did have the 15's and they were really good. 20mm ES 68 vignettes a tiny bit, 19mm Flat Fields of all types are supposed to be good, without vignetting, but I haven't used them.
Matt
