An acquaintance of mine too these three shots 2 mins apart a few weeks ago - he sent me them to ask about the curious line in the middle one.
It is down near Snug in Tassie, three shots of 30 secs.
We can't work out the middle photo contains-
Any ideas?

Perhaps it is a meteor, a friend and I experienced one over my home a few years ago that displayed an erratic path.

I believe there was another launch recently too.
Maybe the Kiwi's finally launched one, and it went a little...well, wonky :)

Still vividly remember that burn you spotted at astrofest a few years back Ron
Be it a launch or X -37 doing stuff (it showed up next day ) that was a memorable night for sure having that event pop up on an obsereving field full of people and gear to watch what was unfolding over 20
minutes:)
