G'day everyone!

Was out at St George on the weekend and was able to take a few nightscapes at the dam.

Camera was a Fuji X100, exposures were 15 to 20 seconds at ISO 3200, with the fixed 23mm lens at F2.

The first pic is a 20 image pano, the second 14, and the rest from 3 to 4 images. I am a complete novice when it comes to framing and composition so would like tips or advice if you have any.

Also, other times I've imaged with this camera I have had some dramas with the images being to blue, I did experimented with the white balance this time so what do you think of the colour?

Thanks for looking

A larger version of the first image can be seen here, Gate to the Galaxy. (http://astrob.in/117747/0/)

Cheers

Stunning shots Jo. I like the first one the best. Colour is great.
Fabulous framing and I like the use of perspective and that bright light right in the right edge makes for a dramatic and nice shadow/light contrast.

The perspective draws you around and the exposure is perfect.

Milky Way shots really need the MW to be the secondary subject not so much the primary subject. The best MW shots all have that in common.
