It is still the Alpha version, however. I am not in the dev. team and I don't make money out of US, so don't take this as an ad. I just thought this would be of interest to some.

What bothers me a little is that they said that if you own US1, it would automatically update to the next version, but then they changed their minds and I will have to buy this one :/

ok guys now im upset. US is a pretty popular gravity simulator! You can double the mass of the Sun and watch the solar sytem planets get a shorter orbit etc.

Why be upset?
Never heard of it before and Not sure I'd want to download it on my laptop without a proper review
AND you have to buy it.
Enough for me not to be interested.

Nothing against you personally, but with the recent influx of spammers and dodgy posts, I'm sure most of the people on here would be hesitant to blindly follow a link from a new member to an unknown site and pay money to download a program most have never heard of...

Thanks for the heads up Gabrial. I watched the videos, looks amazing. I have a Steam account so I will check it our on there. For those wondering Steam is the worlds biggest game softwate delivery enviroment and quality of software is closely scrutinised. Ive never seen anything quite like the US software.

The comments that one of the US2's developers made in a pirate/hack forum are great:

It is said that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Imitation and copying are in a sense the same thing, so thanks for flattering us.

It would however have been nice if you had respected our right to select the distribution method ourselves, and for that reason, I respectfully ask you to remove this pirated version.

Recognizing that you are unlikely to do that, I will simply hope that any user of this software, _including_ those who get it through alternative means, will enjoy it. That they will feel entertained and enlightened at the same time. Then we will still have obtained the primary goal.

Being a small team, depending on some form of income, I hope that anyone enjoying the software then later joins us as a paying customer to support further development. As to what we still want to add of features... not even the sky is the limit ;-)

Down to Earth, matter-of-fact. I like that.

English isn't my first language so maybe i didn't express myself very well. I'm not literally upset. Argh, nevermind

Oh, you guys can download a free demo of US1 too, if you don't feel like paying...

haha yes that's funny. Green leaf is a cool guy. If I'm not mistaken, he worked in the development team of Kerbal Space Program as well
