Having just acquired a CCD camera I'm finding that learning the techniques for proper imaging and processing, which is another challenge on its own, a little more challenging than I first thought.
I've played around with DSLR imaging for a while and, although I don't claim to be any good at it, I've been pleased with some results.
My combination of equipment for imaging consists of an Orion ED80T CF APO, Starlight Express SXVR-9HC, Orion Autoguider and NEQ6 Pro mount amongst other accessories. I am wanting to attach a Televue 0.8X photo reducer flattener but not sure of how to go about it ie, adapters, spacers etc.
Any advice would be muchly appreciated as this ol man's eyes are growing weary from searching and not knowing what I'm looking for :confused2:

Cheers!
Rocky

Hi Rocky, I suggest that you contact your nearest Televue dealer.
I think many flatteners/reducers come with some spacers.

The TV 0.8 FF/FR requires 56 +/- 4mm spacing. I use it successfully with my ED80T CF, with a filter wheel and Thin OAG in the imaging train.

Thanks for the tips raymo and Barry :) I've now figured out how to connect my CCD camera to the flatterner and managed some daytime shots  now to put it to the real test tonight... skies are perfectly clear this afternoon and hopefully stay that way thru the night... really wanting to give this a go :astron:
