This is in near mint condition and barely used.
I just looked at when I bought this from Alice Springs from a lady who won it as a prize and had no use for it. It has been in my kit for 2.5 years, and looking at my images I have used it on about 10 occassions. I definitely have more use for a macro lens and so am selling this toward that end.
It is NOT the 70-300 kit lens (that sells for $249), and is now replaced with the 70-300 IS USM for $549 The lens is Japanese made.
You will not be unhappy with the results.
It is can be bit slow on the auto focus sometimes but I think that is subject oriented.
Wanting $330 posted in Oz and u get:
Lens - Capsx2 - Hood (after market) - Marumi UV filter - padded soft case (after market).
The pictures of birds are resized so detail is lost. I have done it so you can see how much is cropped for the close-up sections. The sections I have cropped are not resized and you can see the lens quality. These are all hand held and I think you can determine from them the lens' ability and how much better it would perform on a tripod.
PM me please - Trevor
