Hi Derek,
Can you give details on what you used to take these?
Thanks,

Neil I used a Lunt 100 Single Stack with a 3x Barlow and a Gstarex camera for the close ups.The disc ones were without the Barlow .The purple CaK shot was with a Lunt B1200CaK diagonal on a 100mmED refractor.Generally I capture 400frames and stack 20-50 in Registax5 and sharpen them in CS2.Hope this helps.
Dave hope you get back into Solar imaging soon.

Thanks Derek. I've just started down this path with a Meade Solarmax II 60 etalon & BF15 on my ED80, and I'm experimenting with imaging options. Took a few with my Canon 70D on Sunday, but had some trouble achieving sharp focus. I also have a QHY5-II which is apparently good for this sort of work, but I coudn't get anything useful through it. I think I have to play around more with the settings in the software. Visual obs were brilliant though!
Cheers,
