over the past 5 weeks I have been packing up and moving the family to our "new home":). it has been stressful to say the least:rolleyes: as i have had to pull down the dome and pack away all my astro goodies:sadeyes: I certainly hope that I never have to move again - but never say never eh?;)

anyway after a huge scrub up, clean up, paint and top up, mow and trim the house is now better than when we were in it - oh the irony.....:help::screwy:

so here is a very cold, empty view of the old digs, domeless:(

Tell me about it  how long you been at that place now..? Sheesh! This is my 8th move since 2003 :scared:

Will be cool being in an apartment above or near several hundred restaurants, coffee houses and cafe's  ...and just 25min to my new dark sky obs :D

we have had issues with telstra phone line, the internet connection, power, and a host of teething issues in the new house, but we are now functional. Alan Meehan has been a great help with the move- inspirational actually:thumbsup:

had it on a few times - then something fell off it while the fire was on - not too sure what it did but it was a lump of rusty metal:question: havent used it since

i have changed all the down lights to LED inserts, and other energy saving lighting where i could. 14x50 watt halogens now changed to 6.5watt LEDs added heaps of 4 point power points and lights from our old home - that my father gave us and a new TV aerial

Maybe the air damper? I can't think what else there'd be to fall off...

Congrats on the move, Dave. I have to agree, moving is a pain (I moved 15 times in 6 years while I was a cadet engineer - some of that married with a toddler) but a new place is always exciting.

Enjoy.

Well done on the move buddy.
At least now you've escaped those giga-lumen street lights.
Poor Abba, she looks like she could use a Berroca.
