Here is 40+ x 6 min of each of RGB of the SMC as a 32 bit fit that is twice the size of a native sensor image. Drizzled. 600MB

I have just about nailed down the flexure. More to come.
There is a bit of spherochromaticity in the red channel.
Do your best.
Below is a screen shot just after DBE and stretching.

Bert,
You need to crop the overlapped regions before you run DBE. You'll get a much better result.

Does that mean that it's not worth downloading 594 M Bytes until Bert fixes it?

I wouldn't say it's a waste, but, proper results are attained after cropping overlapped/dithered/low SNR regions prior to running ABE/DBE. I guess it depends where the control points (and, how many of them) are placed.

Let's wait to see what Bert says.

Allan the data is untouched. So crop before using DBE. H is quite correct. I only put up the picture to give an idea of the data.

I had been up for two nights and was in no fit state to process data effectively.

Here is a better version. I have two nights of RGB data. This is red from night two and blue from night one with all the green. I still have a bit of flexure and this will get fixed today. Each time I fix it in one part of the system another lesser problem rears its ugly head. It is just like whack a mole!
