Celestron CPC Hand Controller

I have a Celestron Hand controller for my Celestron CPC 8". The following message has appeared and I now cannot use it.

“Bootloader invalid package 0080”

Any help or ideas would be greatly appreciated :)

Happened to me and I simply reflashed the controller.

Beware though, the hand controller is very fussy about USB to serial converters. I had 4 of them and the only one that would work was one with an FTDI chip set. These are apparently pretty bulletproof.
