I shouldn't upload unfinished projects, this very sweet northern object has so much more to give, but I don't know when I will be shooting out that window again due to southern comets lol. So it is the beginning of a work in progress that will be finished later on.

NGC6888 the Crescent Nebula in Cygnus, only 90 minutes, ED100 at F7.2, Pentax K-5, Astronomik CLS filter.

Very nice! That is some great detail for 90 minutes. Can't wait to see the final product!

Thanks Nick. It may be a while before I add more to it though.

Thanks Dunk. I know what you mean. I used to be like that but lately I've been spending more time on one object.

Thanks Rick! So many goodies in the northern sky, so little time to get them all...

That is certainly paying off Kevin

I'll have to stop behaving like a kid in a candy store and learn to be more like you "adults" :help:

I fully understand the kid in a candy store syndrome Dunk, now that tree pruning has opened up some northern sky. I want ALL the objects in it in ONE night! lol.

I was just thinking, what a nightmare astrofest must be. So many dark sky goodies and not enough time for them all.

AstroFest was great...even though it was tough choosing what to image, with so much available with good skies in virtually any direction...but the bonus was there was always someone else nearby imaging something else that you could take a peek at :D
