Hi there everyone.
Thought it was time to put up something other than the Lagoon!

This is a HaRGB image taken with my Canon 600D and Atik 314L mono.

6 minute exposures for RGB (6 hours)
30 minute exposures for Ha (8 hours)

Any feedback and criticism is more than welcome.

Stars are a little funky but the HH is very nice!

Davin and Rick, thanks for the nice comments.
Rick, yes, the stars are strange, possibly for 2 reasons,
1: RGB done through 8" newt bout 12 months ago, Ha done through ED80 over the last 2 weeks. Getting about 4 subs every morning from 3 onwards
2: Aligned and resized by hand in PS CS6.

Ha data attached
Cheers

I'd be very happy with that
re the stars: looks like coma from the newt to my eyes

Hi Scott,

I hope you don't mind I played with lens correction in CS6 to offset some of the newt's coma. Might be worth doing this with the newt data and then reregistering with the ed80 (some stars on the right don't quite align) .. if you could be bothered, the pic is good as it is and lens correction does kind of ruin the composition  perhaps a hybrid could be made - you can tell Ive been thinking about this a bit too much... really hanging to do some imaging!

Cheers,

Rusty
