Hi,
This was so supposed to be more data for the Helix, but there was a strong wind coming directly at the scope so I swung around on to M27.
I only had 90 minutes of data 5 minute subs ISO 1600, I processed this but it was noisy.
I went through my library of data and found another 32 minutes of data, 2 minute subs at ISO 800.
I processed both images separately and combined them in DSS, worked a treat!:)
Think I'll try this method again instead of layering in PS.
The image is quite deep for just over two hours, shall get some more data later.
8" F/4 astrograph HEQ pro 5 mount. Orion mini guider.
Unmodded canon 1100D, baader type III coma corrector.
18 x 5 minute subs, ISO 1600 and 16 x 2 minute ISO 800. Stacked in DSS, processed in PS7.
Plus repro .
Cheers,
Justin.

Nicely processed and coloured Justin. This is on my imaging list but is a bit north for my position. So I will just enjoy looking at others images. Well done.

Hmmm, not so much that, but the trees are problematic too I think. I would tend to do this in a NB imaging run rather than broad band imaging.
