Hi guys,

Been a very long time since I've done any imaging, so spent some time doing a re-pro of my old chook :D details of the old pic can be found here (http://www.iceinspace.com.au/forum/showthread.php?t=105569). This image does look like its full of artifacts but its just the IIS compression :) will need to post up original on astrobin eventually.

I use a rather unconventional approach to my Bi-colour images where I use the traditional LRGB technique but only with the two NB images (in this case, Ha & OIII). I find this very versatile and easy to work with.

Workflow: Stacked in DSS, Edited in Startools, Touched up in PS
L:R:G:B -> Ha:Ha:Ha:OIII

Feedback always welcome!

Thanks guys, appreciate the comments :) I do feel like I've slightly overdone the saturation, but with Melbourne's absurd weather I usually shoot Ha to maximise data and then fit in OIII where I can, leaving the dim SII out.
