Lovely Rob  lots of detail and colours. Did you apply any sharpening? Looks like there's more there to see...
Thanks Dunk.
Did a little bit of sharpening in Photoshop. However I am a total novice with PixinSight and Photoshop and I am not sure if I applied the correct workflows for getting the best out of an image. Its a long learning curve.

Nice going, Rob! Didn't realise you were at AF. Sorry I didn't make it up...

I feel your pain :help:
I reckon you could dial up the sharpness a bit in Photoshop...only really two outcomes better or worse :D

Nice one Rob, one of my favourite galaxies. I see you've updated your gear, that is some scope and camera outfit.
Haven't been up your way for some time, hope we can catch up in the not to distant future.

Well, that looks good Rob! Very nice first post. Looks like you got the OAG sorted out well done!
Cheers
Rod
Thanks Rod.
I am glad I took your advice and purchased the OAG. It works like a charm and saves a lot of hassle with weights and balancing. I have never had to rotate it to get a guide star. I also downloaded the PHD2 source code and rebuilt it after adding my own modification to bin * 2 the QHY5L-II guide image.
