hello members does anybody have a refractor attached to a g11, and if so how do you think is the best way to mount it?
i replaced the stock losmandy saddle with a cassady, the middle size i think a while ago
i am currently waiting for a pair of long losmandy DUP plates to attach my solid ringed fractor to one and the other to fit atop said fractor for my orion 80mm guidescope
is this the easiest and best secured option or does anybody have any other smart ideas?
regards and thanks in advance

Pat I have a TOA130 attached to a G11 and an ED80 atop the tak as a guide scope. Seems to work ok.

Pat, I just attached the short losmandy dovetail to the takahashi scope ring. Bit of mucking around, but worked fine in the end.

I had made a custom plate out of architectural aluminium, fits both refractors, dew controllers plus any other bits I need. 20 min exposures and no relative drifting between the scopes at all

Sorry I've forgotten how to attach an image
