Galaxy M83 and some real faint fuzzies

Hi all
Did Spiral gaaxy M83 last night, 6x10 mins ISO 200, uv/ir filter but no nebula filter.
Also got 2 of the faintest and smallest planetaries Ive ever done. Hapened to notice 2 planetares close together in s aggatarius so tried for them. 2x 10 mins. Also no nebula filter.Modded 350D, 10 inch F5.6 hand guided. Its a full res. crop from part of the image.

I must point my scope that way have a go myself.
The faint fuzzies are definately faint at Mag 18 excellent work

Nice work again Scott....M83 is bit grainy for my liking....boy we are fussy now a days...lol

I would like to see the difference with say 12 or 15 x 5 minute exposures to see if taking such long exposure really does make a difference.

Thanks all.
Its always an interesting question whats best, few long exposures or lots of shorter ones. Perhaps one night I should try a single hour long one (if I can concentrate that long lol) at ISO 200 with the filter on and see what happens. Without the UHCS filter, I cannot go much past 10 mins @iso 200 without getting too much sky fog. Id love to be under a real dark sky and be able to do 10 or 20 mins @iso 400 without filtering and not get skyfog.

The mountand scope was made by Astro Optical Supplies in Sydney, and has not long had its 20th birthday, getting it just in time for helleys Comet. The large off axis guider is newer, got it last year. http://www.aeroquest-machining.com/page9.html

I am right now trying M83 myself what a coincidence!
I'll see how it turns out and hopefully if not a disaster ill post too.

in line with Striker's coment I might only suggest running the M83 through Noiseware (freeware) pretty sure that would help.
no doubt about it the tracking is spot on and the faint fuzzies are very cool too!
