I'm considering selling off my current kit to finance one better suited to capturing my preferred targets, teeny little galaxies. This was my first scope and is an excellent one for beginners or for those interested in a wide-field set up.
I've arranged, fairly impulsively, the acquisition of a heavier mount so now I can start considering bigger, heavier scopes, thus why I'm considering selling this as a package. If there's no interest in the package, I'll be selling the mount regardless but I'll keep the scope and focuser.
The mount has some minor cosmetic issues which I can show in photographs, but other than that, mount, scope and focuser all work perfectly.
Focuser was purchased around 6 weeks ago, shipped from the US it cost me just over $490. It's upgraded to include the dual rate tri knob with shaft lock. Seriously love this focuser; it may have cost almost half the telescope, but it's worth every cent.
Mount and scope were purchased new in August last year from Andrews Communications, and at current prices would cost you $999 each brand new ($1,998 total).
Total cost brand new: $2,488.
Attached is a really bad phone camera photo of the set up (minus the new focuser) as I was readying it for use some time ago.
Scope is kept in Kilcoy, but arrangements could probably be made to meet in Coorparoo in the afternoon or evening, Tue-Thurs.
Asking $1,750 for the kit. Better pictures can be provided when I get back from a business trip next Saturday.

Details on the focuser: (pending... Moonlite's site isn't working for me right now so I can't link)
