I was sure I had the cheese and kisses talked into flying to Hobart airport while I rode down with the crew for a 5 day tour on the motorcycles. I was about to book the ferry tickets.

She arrived home with 'cheep' qantas tickets to new york.

So we are now doing New York for a week, driving to Gettysburg, then Washington, Orlando, New Orleans, Santa Monica and home. Not so cheep after all.

But this was on Deb's bucket list so I'm in. Just 2 weeks to go and we are off.

I bought a 2nd hand 3G iPad mini for a couple of hundred and already have US sim cards so I hope to post pics.

I believe it's hot over there, bloody freezing here :)

Are you going to be driving between all those places? That's going to be a long drive!

Anyway, should be good - are you going to try for Cape Canaveral when you're in Orlando?

Driving NY to Washington with an overnighter in Gettysburg, airports for the rest of the trip and space center tickets have been booked and paid for. Can't wait to get going Rick. Looking at the time stamps on the last holiday pics, we haven't had a real holiday since 2007, so its been a while.
