I let the Starshoot run while I was packing up last night - moon was up, IR/UV filer was in (I had been guiding with the Starshoot). This is unguided 23*60s shots, gain & offset at default, TEC off, darks and stacking in Maxim DL EE (IP is better :-) fortunately for me the next vsn supports the Starshoot!).

Not bad considering all the things that were not set correctly and with a very small scope too! I love the sensitivity of this little camera after using the LPI, guidestars wherever I point....happy.

congratulations, that is one of the nicer shots with a OSS that I have seen

I think this camera is much under-rated and has heaps of potential -if teamed with the right optical train

beautiful john. stars are nice circles even for unguided.

Polished this image up a bit in IP....looks better now. Not a bad result considering the gear and circumstances, I should have another got at this with the IR filter out and through the VC200L to see what this little camera can do...
