Hi All,

Imaged Saturn July 27th, the seeing was good but not quite up to that of the previous night and went down hill abruptly after only an hour.
Have attached 742nm IR, R channel data sets and an RGB data set. Have also attached polar projections and animations. Have a close look at the animations down on the edge of the dark band immediately surrounding the hexagon and over toward the "F" limb. I am not sure but I fancy there could be a small bright spot in there.

Regards
Trevor

Thanks, really enjoying these, I am housebound at the moment, so great to still get to see some planetary action!

Nice work Trev. I have nearly totally given up on planetary imaging at present. The grey stuff is making it a little hard.

Thanks Peter.

Thanks Paul, it seems that there is very little interest in hi-res planetary imaging in this country, as witnessed by the general changes in the type of material posted in this forum. As you are aware, I mostly post my data on Freddy's facebook Planetary imaging group where many planetary imagers have gravitated too. As facebook doesn't like animated gif files the only way I can present them is to post them here or on CN and add a link to my posts on the Planetary imaging group. Thanks for the text from Parks, I went to facebook and congratulated you on your stunning Orion image but that entire thread seemed to disappear.
