Just walked out of work and was greeted with an absolutely breathtaking sun setting and cloud colours... I really hope the landscape guys on here have their cameras out, can't wait to see the results!..

Here's my meager attempt from my phone:

And another.. Not the best, but the best I could with what I have on me... Lol

Whoa! wow! that looks great! hope some DSLR users were out there too.

Wonder what the weather guru's say-maybe this pattern is a prelude to very cool weather

Coming out of a 11-hour day at the end of a six-day working streak with the next three days off, it was pure magic... Hehehe

My photos don't come close to doing it justice, I'm hoping some of the DSLR pros were on the ball and will post some soon...

I saw it too, it was spectacular to say the least.
Didn't have a camera with though.

I know how fast these sunsets change colour so I didn't waste time changing lenses. These are with my 150-500 Sigma @150mm hand held, f/6.3, ISO1600, 1st 1/125sec, 2nd 1/80sec

Wonderful mackerel skies.

What a spectacle to behold!

H, you can see by the colour change in just 30 seconds why I didn't wait. It really needed a 30-40mm focal length to do it justice.

Just a point and shoot Canon but with that sky it would be difficult to go wrong : http://www.astrobin.com/full/110049/0/
