Hi all!

Well, back almost a week, the family and I spent two incredible weeks travelling around mainland China and Hong Kong. I thoroughly enjoyed the mainland despite the very hazy/foggy (read smog) atmosphere, especially in Shanghai. The other thing that I noticed was the sheer volume of people everywhere you went. I guess with a population of 1.3 billion people you might notice a crowd here and there!

Like you we have just spent a month in China and the air pollution was incredible. The locals called it - a mist. When we went to the wall a massive storm blew up so much so that we had to spend two hours before we could come down as the guide considered it dangerous.
Looks like you had better weather than us but far more people on the wall.
