Preview: Collimation issues Sw 180mm Mak

Hi all
I bought a secondhand SW180mm Mak at a very good price.
Absolutely brilliant views of the moon but when it comes to Saturn and Jupiter I have much better view's with my 200p.

The star test showed the center obstruction somewhat to one side and I of course started to fiddle with the allen cap screws at the rear of the scope and made it much worse as the mirror flops about when focusing now.

Does any one know of a video tutorial that might guide in the right direction ?
I downloaded a tutorial but is rather complicated and I made a mess of it.

I took a photo with my cellphone through the center tube and found light reflecting off one side.

Thank you.

Andre

 . :help:Oops, i think that the cap screws you fiddled with are locking screws not colomation screws , sorry to say .
I have read somewhere that the scope is set at the factories when made and these are a bugger to restore to those settings  sorry to be the bearer of this news , but someone might be able to help .
good luck, and yes an awesome scope when set up right.
Brian.

I think that any of the major astro dealers will have a pet scope tech, and will be able to quote a price to fix your scope.
