I have had so many disagreements with the management it's a wonder they didn't order ME to leave. But I'm still here contributing when I can and learning heaps.

I spat the dummy and left for a while (actually, I think I used the same thread title you just did), but I sprang back in all my stupid humour.

Yeah, we all rub each other the wong way at times (and boy have I rubbed), but I for one enjoy your posts and contributions.

Dear Dennis

Holding together such a bunch of diverse and talented people that we have on IIS is quite a remarkable achievement; by management, moderators and all the members. I have never come across an organization where this has succeeded as much as it seems to have on IIS.

This diversity, our collective, varied and many interactions along with the site policies and how they are implemented inevitably leads to occurrences such as this.

It would be sad to see you go Dennis. But, if you want some time out, take it and hopefully we’ll see you back on line, soon. The door is never closed, so please don’t close it when you leave; leave it open so that you can find it when its time to return.

We value our on-line friendships, and differences, right here, on IIS.

As one affiliated with the "management" I am sorry to read about this, as I wasn't even aware of any disputes. Take care Dennis. And when you change your mind / sort out your differences - which I hope in time you will - user accounts can be created just as easily as deleted, so do drop in and say hello.
