If light is absorbed by it, I wonder what other spectrums it absorbs as well. Could be perfect stealth material.

If it absorbs other wavelengths like infra red then it would negate a lot of night vision gear... once again SF to the fore ... how many writers have mentioned sneak suits!

Even though it's very expensive and no-one will probably buy it for use on a scope, just be a but careful. This is a microscopic fibrous material which is no broken down by your body, sound familiar?

Although there have been no studies yet linking CNTs with any sort of lung disease, I wouldn't be taking the risk at present. We have these at work, but they are always kept in a suspension, never dry.

And if you thing the acronym for Carbon Nano-Tubes is a bit risqué, then don't ask what they call Copper ones. I have attached the paper for those that wish to read it, but WARNING not for those easily offended.
