Hi everyone.

Been doing this hobby for about 18 months now and have just dipped my toe into the vast ocean of narrowband imaging.

I just bought the Atik 314L mono and have a question about the temperature of darks and lights.

I shot my light subs at -15 degrees.

Is there going to be a drastic consequence if the darks are taken at -8 degrees (or there abouts)?

I ask this question because I have just finished a series of 50 darks in a nice air conditioned office with an ambient temp of about 24 degrees, thus the camera couldn't push down to -15.

have I just wasted the morning or are these going to be acceptable?

Thanks in advance for your advice!

I believe the difference in noise doubles for every 6 degrees difference, so with 7 degrees difference between your lights and darks you may want to re-shoot your darks.
