Here is a night-scape panorama stitched together from 7 separate frames.

This is my first attempt at this type of panorama so please be gentle with me. :)
It was really just a test so I could work out what to do.

Next time I obviously need to find a more interesting foreground (and get more actual foreground in). Through a Pentax K-5 DSLR using a Samyang 14mm

Nice one Pete :thumbsup:As you say some more field of view on the bottom and I think, some more either side and you would be onto a winner.

Yes, more foreground required but you captured the sky really well, and that's the hardest part! :)

Stitching looks good Pete, but as Greg suggested I'd try and go much wider next time. Good job for a test run though!

Quite nice. White balance is a bit too cool. Around 4500K may be better it will reduce the excess blue/magenta.

Thanks for the advice Greg. I've struggled to get the right colour-balance so far in most of my nightscape attempts.
I think I took too much green out of this one when I was processing it.
