Hey folks!
I recently bought a QHY 10 off a chap here, and have spent a while sorting some stuff out. Not related to the camera but more scope and mount stuff.
Anyhoo have been trying to get some stuff to test the camera out.
Dust cloud Barnard 86 and open cluster 6520 have been my target over the last few weeks- mainly because in Sagittarius it is right on my sight line from about 10pm onwards till it goes behind gum trees and houses.
I took multiple shots with my Orion Eon 110mm refractor + William optics Reducer corrector+QHY10. I amassed over 7 hours.
I shot the same with a Canon 5D MarkII and a William Optics GT81 scope but haven't found a way to combine the two yet.
I also took some subs on the Cats Paw- I have included it here as a work in progress.
Anyway- NGC 6520/Barnard 86 and the Cats Paw.
Taken from my back deck 42' South -
Five minute subs -cooled at -15'c according to Nebulosity, Darks, Flats, Bias, and dark flats applied.
I wish I could post a bigger version.
Thanks for reading this far- I have been known as a long winded ******.
