This Telescope has been sent to Roger Davis in Sydney for collimation and set up, after an unfortunate incident when tightening the surround screws caused a tiny chip on the inside of the outer lens.
Roger assured me that this minor blemish would not affect either visual or imaging performance and glad to say he was right!
The scope comes with:
Illuminated finder scope
2" Diagonal
Aluminium carry case (foam lined)
Tube rings, dovetail plate and carry handle
The scope was purchased brand new from Lex on the GC in 2010 and has been used as a grab and go set up with a HEQ5.
I am only selling as I have gone overboard and bought Laurie's Takahashi.
Realising the minor blemish does not affect images, I do understand that it has an effect on the price.
So, I am only asking $950 pick up or if posted, plus postage.
The attached image was taken at Leyburn last weekend and is a series of 7 images @ 300 sec with only 1 dark used in the series at -10c.
It has only been debayered, stacked and cropped - nothing else!
