That's a stunning Ocelot. I think the nearest looking domestic cat would be the Bengal?

I like the way my Tonkinese cat Rigel looks in photos.

Kevin,

I have two Tonkinese as well! Rigel Kentaurus (Rigel) and Bellatrix Carina (Bella).

My Rigel is a seal point, like yours. Bella's a blue mink. :)

Any photos of your Tonks H?

That's a nice Ragdoll Col. What's it's name? I have a Ragdoll kitten as well, Orion. He is very difficult to photograph well. He's cream mitted with orange colour points. Here he is at 6 months.

My bitser. I got her from the RSPCA when she was about 10 months old. She was picked up as a starving stray with a litter of kittens.
What she lacks in pedigree she makes up for with her gentle, affectionate nature.

This is my Molly, with her moustache. We got her from the pound. She was handed over to them at approximately 4 weeks old walking the street bashed ups you couldn't wish for a more gentle loving cat, she's still scared of everything that moves and won't even come into the garden.

She . . . ( the rag doll ) belongs to the Mrs's ... gave her the name of ' Honey ' . . . . but that's girls for you....

BTW ... these ' rag dolls ' ( the breed that is ) have another name . . . ' puppy cats ' .... because they follow you everywhere . .. just like a ' puppy ' does ..... hence the nickname.
Ours do ... don't like being alone ... must be where we are.....they even ' sit ' outside the toilet when we use it .....
If we are in the kitchen .. they are in the kitchen .... if we are in the lounge .... guess what ... yep ... they must be there to

We don't ' own ' them . . . . they ' own ' us . . . . . :P

Yeah both of mine follow me everywhere, except when they are chasing each other like maniacs. I had to get something after my last cat died last year. In retrospect I probably should have got a rescue cat. And I didn't plan on getting two purebreds, but I was always curious what Tonks and Ragdolls were like.

Kevin,

http://www.pbase.com/image/125656539/original.jpg - Rigel
http://www.pbase.com/image/125656207/original.jpg - Bella

I was on a waiting list for about 18 months before I got them. Award-winning stock and lineage. :)

They are brother and sister and are 9 this year.

They're all gorgeous :-) Two pics of my little tigers. They're both pure Tonks: the more siamese looking gent (Naa-wi - Seal Point) is the great uncle of the more burmese looking, much younger whipper snipper (Ma-eht - Chocolate/Champagne Solid). They're adorable and while Naa-wi likes to act like a sophisticated and snobby aristocrat, Ma-eht is the ADHD miscreant kid that brings him down to earth

Thanks Kevin. My family has had Tonks for a long time. I'm not sure how we 'discovered' them but I couldn't image not having one. Tonks are such naturally inquisitive, intelligent, playful and loyal friends (as you know :-). And my two are the best of mates, and my little mates - they're rarely out of eyesight of each other. Ma-eht (brown one) is more like a dog than a cat and follows me *everywhere* - he's happy being a farm cat and has even been on the tractor with me :eyepop: I live on 7.5 acres and they both love the space and opportunity to hunt field mice (a specially those that get into my hay shed).

They are so much like dogs, Alex.

They're very loyal. My two have a spat at each other every now and then. But, come bed time, they snuggle up together and sleep. :)

My two little mates 'Pal' (the mustachioed maniac) and his sister, 'Curious' the tortoise-shell terror...

Love their little attitudes, Curious lives up to her name in every way, if there's something new, she's onto it straight away, whereas Pal is just a laid back little bugger who doesn't really care about much except food... Hehehe
