Thanks Stefan and David, the Atik is similar to the Lunt solar imager, it's a 16 bit CCD camera, shots were taken through a double stacked LS60T/LS60f using an exposure of 1 millisecond with a coronado BF10.If I use the Lunt BF1200 the exposure increases to between 4 to 6 milliseconds. This is a one shot camera, there are no AVIs,it can capture a constant stream of Fit files and from these I'll select the best images for processing. These are processed in Registax(very basic processing,as I'm still working or guessing my way around it),so there is no stacking involved, and can capture proms and surface details in one shot.It takes a couple of minutes to process from raw image to final image.
