I decided not to enter this year as I had some other things (in motion) that didn't fit the ROG format.
Well done Rolf and Raki.:thumbsup::thumbsup:
P.S. Hey Mike...you counting chickens or did you mean "paltry"

Congrats to the guys in the promo material and good luck for a placing.
I was lucky enough to have two images short listed in the DSO section this year. Given the quality and number of entries, I think that is a pretty damn good achievement. In last years promo stuff I had an image in that but got nothing in the end, so I guess there is a possibility yet of a placing. Time will tell.

Looking at the winning image....I'd been to the almost identical location (about a far from Sydney as you can get :) ) last year (attached pic )....
Sadly mother nature didn't provide the sky or weather as in the very deserving over-all winner's image.
Well Done to Dave, Julie & Matt.

Congratulations all! Some great images there. Though I have many Iceland aurora shots and many Jokulsarlon snaps, nothing of both, or either approaching the quality of the winner. What a beauty! (Though I saw one recently that was similar, but with a bit of red volcanic glow from the ongoing eruption at Holuhraun behind Vatnajokull - one for next year!)
