Well until I get a proper mount i've been using my cameras tripod. Not a good idea. Can't even find the moon.

You might do better if you mount the scope the wrong way round on the tripod. Most camera tripods will not let you point the lens much above 30 degrees, but will let it go to -90 degrees, so back-to-front you can get high enough. Mind you it is awkward to use with the adjustments on the wrong side.

Nah, it's not really usable at all. I'm looking at getting an EQ5-Pro in a week or so.
