Hello I have а telescope Polarex model NS 132 4" Equatorial Refractor my question is I want to sell it and what is its real price at present. Thanks you.

:shrug: Lots ,,, but seriously its like 'how long is a piece of string' basically what a buyer will pay for this beauty , I would say around 5-7k mark ? .

Value? a LOT. Definitely 3 zero's on the end of the first figure. Don't let anyone low-ball offer you. I don't know it's actual value, but it's not something you see every day!

There are a couple collectors of fine Polarex/Unitron's here, and I am sure they can be of assistance - Steve Brennan being one I would trust implicitly.

The market in Australia has gone soft on unitrons. Three inch were 1k up to 1200 now 3-400, last 4" I saw sold was somewhere around 1200 ish? But I don't know if that was a gem mount. It sold here so should be in the archives. The US prices are still pretty high but freight there sorta kills the market. Ebay is probably best bet or set a price if you have one in mind.
Edit: the 4" can be a bit hit and miss with the optics if you can star test it and confirm how good they are that will help you.

As others have said - it's a bit variable. I collect these too, and paid nearly 4k for one off a dealer (I'm slightly less stupid now) that arrived in terrible condition and with miserable optics during the silly pricing phase when I'd spent nearly a year trying to find one. I picked up another, complete and in perfect condition with exquisite optics for half that a year later.
The fact is, as a working telescope they really aren't especially good or practical. But as one devotee of them has said, 'you spend more time looking at them than through them'.
So if there's more than one collector around you should be able to get a good price for it :-). If it's got every accessory intact and working then you are at one end, if, like mine, the fine motion controls are missing and the coating gone from the optics, it's not really worth more than a few hundred.

There is a 72mm on eBay Australia now (located in Northern NSW) and it's VERY low, with less than 24 hrs left.

I suspect then the prices we see are grossly inflated dealer gouging. A pity.

I'm watching the 3" on eBay and tipping it won't go a lot higher (well I'm hopefull) I like them but ...... There are a lot of better options for day to day
use.
Andrew, I remember what happened to you, just don't mention the dealer as negative feedback for him results in threads being deleted. I priced a used 60 there once and he wanted 2k or a little less...... I would value a basic 60mm at 200, not impressed. They are not a good choice without a star test ( the 4") more a piece of art for the study :) dunno what the 5 and 6" are like ? UniPol you about?

Wondering is that an English plug on the motor drive???? Little bit odd .......

keep in mind the value in these is as a collectors item -as to value -its what someone will be prepared to pay

These certainly aren't ultra-premium anything any more, but still a nice achro and a good looker for the study/den/man cave.

I think most people are referring to the scope-these are also to be considered:-
The equatorial mount is beautifully made F15 and can handle a modern 5 inch APO easily- Its worth a lot on its own
The motor goes for around 300$ in good working condition
The unihex looks in good condition- also worth money
