Last night , another Antennae galaxies NGC4038/9

Made a better effort in the windy conditions to bag this one with more obvious antennae. used 20X 400 second exposures this time with the celestron nightscape and SW 120ED. The second picture is a crop of the first.

That is quite an excellent image Philip. Goes very deep. The galaxy to the lower right is PGC 38087.

Hi Kevin you should have seen the Scatty PhD tracking graph . Goes to show how wild the graph can be and still get a fair image.
