Crowded sourced astro imaging news

Anyone else heard much about this or the group that claims their "Enhance algorithm is a very effective way to combine many different shots from many different rigs using predominantly DSLR cameras?

Hadn't heard about Enhance, but Dustin is one of the brains behind astrometry.net so I'm interested.

i had always wondered about that. imagine if they had the raw files.

it would be cool if each month the forum selected one object, how it is to be framed, and everyone who cared to added their data to produce and iceinspace megadata pic - and everyone was available to process it if they wanted to. more probable that it would be perhaps 2-3 to account for the differing FOVs.
