I've been wanting this shot for ages and I finally managed to figure out a time and place with clear skies that I could get to with my telescope to take it.

Here's a stacked series from yesterday with the ISS transiting the sun!

Looks like this IIS transit was a fair way distant (~1000km? ) but
always great to capture

Gee, the sun makes the ISS look very small and insignificant in the scheme of things.

Very impressed, great work!

Do you know the time frame ish that the ISS was in front of the sun? 1 sec? less/more? Frame rate?

Cheers,

Damien.

Nice! I've tried to get a shot like this a few times but it's such a time sensitive and "blind" event that it's very difficult to capture. Well done!

That's a great image, very sharp! How long were your exposures? I presume pretty short to get each ISS frame so crisp?
