Here is my attempt at NGC3324 whilst adjusting my rig, this is a combination of Ha data (100 Minutes) and RGB (20 minutes of each) had some weird gradients but that could have been some scope reflections from the moon which was up at the time. I might have over processed it a little whilst chasing these Anyway here's the final result
All the best

Very sharp. You're getting some great pictures with that fast newt. Very well corrected fov.

DEFINITELY not overprocessed. Very natural, very 3D feel to it. I love your images Paul.
Most of us have to deal with LP issues (except that big guy living on a wind swept plain with one light 6 km away... whistling...), and you've handled it well. I am very envious of your abilities, and can only hope to come CLOSE to this ONE day.

Thans Marc. The fast newt was a deliberate choice because I work 4 nights a week. This meant that I needed a rig that could get deep pictures quickly. When I had my RC10 I was never finishing the pics as I couldn't get enough time to get a result I was happy with. With this rig I can sometimes get good pics of up to 3 targets in a session. Leaves me with plenty to process until my next window of opportunity.
Thanks Lewis. Kind words, I'm imagining who you could be talking about? :D I want to be that bloke! when I moved into my place 10 years ago it was urban fringe with a Bortle score of 4. The government approved 35k homesites and it's now a 5 moving towards a 6. My retirement plans (5-10) years away includes a nice rural retreat!
All the best

That's a really excellent image. Possibly a slight gradient towards the lower right, but it's hard to tell cause there are lots of real things going on in that corner of the nebula anyway. I agree with the others that is is a very "real" looking image. I think it makes a refreshing change personally. Well done!

There is hyper-colour, and then there is reality. I think you have the right balance. A very refreshing change, and I see more imagers going away from the gaudy and, to coin a Haese-ism, respecting the light

It's not something I'm actively attempting to do it may seem counter intuitive but as I'm still learning perhaps I don't know enough to screw it up

David Malin refers to it as respecting the light.
This is a great result, Paul!
