Which manufacturer is offering separate R&P focusers now? The only I know of is Feathertouch, and MAYBE SV?

Sick and tired of Crapford focusers, and want to change out 2 on some scopes. Seems a lot of the larger makers now are switching from Crayford to refined R&P's now, which is a good move IMHO

(you may LOVE Crayford focusers, but not this brown duck - as the Americinians would say, YMMV)

I agree Lewis; the budget R & P with added electric focuser on my
Newt works just fine.

Teleskop Express in Germany has a selection. Some are similar to the Stellarvue ones. I believe APM also sell their version of the 2.5 inch and 3 inch focusers.

Then there is Astro Physics. Their 2.7 inch is heavy but very well made. The weight can actually help balance a heavy objective depends on the scope. I have a second hand one on my 6" D&G.
