This is my 1st attempt at this object and second attempt using the De-Rotator, the 3 min unguided subs had much sharper stars than the 5 min unguided subs so maybe 3 or 4 min unguided subs will work best for now.

Spiral Planetary NGC 5189

2 x 3 min subs at iso 800 Unguided
2 x 5 min subs at iso 800 Unguided
12” Meade LX200 at f6.3 (alt/az De-Rotated)
Sony Nex-3 dslr Camera
Processed with DeepSkyStacker, Startools and GIMP

attached is a crop and full frame image

Thanks everyone, I Just downloaded the latest DeepSkyStacker 3.34, it can handle the Sony ARW raw files, I am impressed at the difference using raw files makes with the Spiral Planetary NGC 5189 image. There is a huge difference in quality so I will be using nothing but raw ARW files from now on.
