Bobs Knobs with RC8

Hi all,
I've just got some Bobs Knobs for my recently acquired RC8 and it seems like they're a bit too short, though I'm sure it's just user error on my part.

When I screw each one in it feels like the point where they get tight is where the big end of the knob makes contact with the back of the secondary frame. So if I loosen one slightly it just becomes loose and I can't tighten the others any further.

What am I missing...?

EDIT: I should mention that the packet they came in does say they're for the GSO RC8

I picked up a set of these last month and mine are just a tad too long, the bin lid doesn't sit nicely but its good enough. They work fine, and are a godsend. Might be worth dropping the guys there a line and checking the dimensions with them.
