This is a work in progress and will be in colour eventually but the weather has intervened once more. Being close to the galactic plane, Scorpius is not known for galaxies but there are a few there. Most are pretty faint though.
Cheers

One does not often see many images near the galactic centre that has some galaxies in it. The only other one I can think of off hand is the one near Corona Australis. I am sure though there must be a few more, but this is a nice look front on galaxy and the side on near the top of the image. Should be interesting as a composition in the end Steve.

Hi Steve
Should look cool in color steve...central bright stars will make for a nice comp.

Thanks Louie - hope the weather allows me to get there.
Thanks Paul. There are two more fainter ones in the frame too. they should all make a nice contrast with NGC 6000 (the brighter one)

This is exciting. The colored data will look great too. Exploring faint fuzzies is grand.

Thanks Joshua. Yes - I find the faint and less imaged stuff a lot of fun.
